2016 has definitely been a crazy year. I returned back from maternity leave halfway through, juggling two kids under three and my London wedding photography business. It wasn’t easy, involved many late nights and a few tears but I am very proud of what I achieved.
Photography gave me so much joy again this year. I was able to meet fantastic people, lovely couples and was surrounded by fun, love and laughter all the way.
Gorgeous Wedding Venues
Just to name a few, I photographed my couples at fantastic wedding venues such as the Old Finsbury Town Hall, Dyrham Park Country Club, Norwood Park, Our Lady of Muswell Hill, Coq d’Argent, the Muswell Hill Golf Course. I even went abroad this year to shoot a wedding at the very famous St. Bartholomews church at the Koenigssee, Germany.
I came across: amazing bridal shoes with wings; gorgeous lace dresses; floor-length veils from a great grandma; orange as a wedding colour for the first time; gorgeous flowers and delicate wedding rings. Over the course of this year I photographed straight wedding couples, gay wedding couples and mixed-race wedding couples of all ages and sizes. Reviewing the year I realised yet again this diversity is one of the reasons I love living in London and I love being a London-based wedding photographer.
Happy New Year
Happy New Year to all my lovely wedding couples. Thank you for taking me on your journey to married life. I wish you a happy, healthy and exciting 2017! Here just a selection of shots from my 2016 London Wedding Photography couples.
